What a Wonderful World

ソニーのなんかの製品のCMで、「What a Wonderful World 」が使われてるけど、いつも「この先聴きたい！」っていうところでCMが終わる。
無性に聴きたいけどCDを持ってないので、iTMSで探して、ルイ・アームストロングの「What a Wonderful World 」っていうアルバムを買ってみた。
良すぎる！！　まだざっと通しただけだけど、どの曲もいい〜。

それにしても「What a Wonderful World 」は本当に素晴らしい曲。歌詞もとってもいい！

すごく美しいメロディで、こんなに幸せに満ちたような歌詞なのに、聴いてるとどうも切なくなってくる。
少なくとも、朝に聴いて、「さあ今日も一日がんばろう」みたいに励みになる曲じゃない。
藤子F不二雄のマンガにありそうな設定だけど、人類は汚染された地球をついに見限り、別の惑星に移住することになった。最後の一団がシャトルに乗り込むその時に、不意にポータブルプレーヤーからこの「what a wonderful world♪」が流れてくる。
移住者たちは涙を流すでもなく、荒廃した地球をただ、疲弊し淀んだ目で眺めるのだった……。
